💡Tip for the first game
Do not use the "Distress Signal" token. It is not very useful and all you risk is having to retry the mission.
Quick and easy setup
Before each mission, follow these steps:
- Shuffle the 40 Space cards and deal them equally face down to each player.
- Each crew member places a Radio token face up in front of them.
- Shuffle the 36 Task cards (the smallest ones) and make a draw pile.
- Complete the setup by reading the chosen mission (the missions are also available via the PDF link below).

Is there another rule point that needs clarification?
When does the game end?
You decide when you want to stop. In The Crew, you choose which missions you play and how many you want to do.
Who is the Commander?
The commander is the player who has the "4 Black Rocket" card.
Who starts the fold?
The first trick will be played by the commander. For the rest of the trick, it will always be the player who won the previous trick.
Can you communicate using a Black Rocket card?
No. That's not allowed.
Can we have multiple communications during the game?
Each player can only make one communication per mission. As soon as a communication is finished, flip the communication token to its red side.
If I don't have a card of that color, am I forced to play a Black Rocket card?
No, you don't have to do it.
Do I have to do the missions in order?
It's not mandatory. If the first missions are too easy, you can skip 3 or 5, for example.

We have one extra card for the setup.
With 3 players, this is normal. You can give it to a player. At the end of the mission, the last card still in hand will therefore not be played.
